Stansted Airport Taxi Guide
Stansted airport in Essex, London Stansted, (Airport code STN) is a similar distance form London to Heathrow and Gatwick, but is often thought to be further from central London. It is also commonly miss spelled as Stanstead!
Located to the east of London, Stansted is a major base for low cost airline operator Ryanair and well served by Easyjet, so expect it to be airport of choice for cheap flights to the London Olympics in 2012.
If you want to let the train take the strain the Stansted Express goes from the airport directly into Liverpool Street station in Central London. There are also direct bus and coach services to London.
