Heathrow Airport Taxi Guide
Heathrow, or London Heathrow (LHR) airport serves London and as a major hub airport acts as as a gateway to the UK and Europe.
London Heathrow Transfer options.
London Taxis (Black Cabs) are avaliable to and from all terminals, due to the distance from Central Lomndon these may not be your best option. Pree booked Mini-cab or private hire vehicles usually operate on a fixed fare basis to and from Heathrow. There are several Mini bus and local coach companies operating to and from Heathrow and towns in the south of Ehgland, there are also scheduled coach services, of particular note for transfer passenegrsa is the Heathrow to Gartwick coach service which saves a train journay into the out of London if you need to go between the two airports. Heathrow is directly linked to central London by underground railway (The tube) and by an express rail link.
Heathrow Express
If you want to let the train take the strain, as they used to say, you can take the Heathrow Express into Central London in only 15 minutes
London Underground (The Tube)
Although it takes about 35 minutes from central London, the Tube is much cheaper than the Heathrow Express. Take care when considering the tube as there is no underground service to Heathrow's Terminal 4 until September 2006 due to engineering work. A replacement bus service is operating between Hatton Cross underground station and Terminal 4. This can add considerable time to the journey.
